Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.

Today we hear from Kristin, who adopted a sweet tortie, Spirit (now Gypsy), over a year ago!

I can’t believe it was over a year ago we adopted this gem of a cat! On the other hand it’s hard to remember our house without her, she has so much personality and love!

I thought you might … be happy to hear how perfectly she fits in here. She lives with two other cats, her and the grey one are usually spooning and/or cleaning each other. When they’re not doing that they’re running around playing tag. Gypsy and our calico cat are often mirroring each other (always sitting on opposite sides of doors and things like that).

And Gypsy and our 2-year-old corgi/aussie mix dog are totally bffs. Gyspy likes to sleep in the dog kennel and sometimes they spoon too! They also play tag and chase each other. It’s a happy home here and thank you so much for bringing Gypsy into our lives!

Oh yeah, and she LOVES car rides! We often drive to my parents up north (close to a 4 hour drive) and bring all the pets with. She loves riding in her kennel (the open wire kind) and hanging out at my parent’s house.
