Get ready to take your protein pills, put your helmet on, and hork something glittery up on the rug! All things Bowie, all things feline. dudes in lots of makeup and tight trousers, and raising some bread for a great organization; what’s not to love?

DJ Jake Rudh (Transmission/ 89.3 The Current) starts things off spinning Bowie and other glam jams with videos right at 8pm. After the show, Jake will take over the mainroom for an unofficial Transmission-goes-glam dance party!

Musical director John Eller leads a band of the finest players in the Twin Cites through the Bowie catalog with help from a stable of singers from some of your favorite local bands.

Performances by Chris Perricelli (Little Man), Katie McMahon, Nadine Dubois, Leslie Ball, Chris Lynch (The Shiny Lights), Noah Levy (Brian Setzer), Tommy Alsides, Hugo Klaers (The Suburbs), Steve Price, Al Bergstrom, Joseph Pettini, Ochen Kaylan, Kent Militzer, Kevin Nord, Laurie Glaser, Matt Darling, Paul Odegaard, Venus DeMars & All The Pretty Horses, Chan Polling (The Suburbs), Steve Brantseg (The Suburbs), Phil Solem (The Rembrandts), Maurice Jacox (Willie and the Bumblebees), Lori Barbero (Babes in Toyland), Ciaran Daly (The Idle Hands), Jonathan Tolliver (Black Diet), Tickle Torture, Orion Treon (Phantom Tails), Liam Watkins (Driftwood Pyre), Reed Wilkerson, David J. 1. “hork something glittery up on the rug” made me laugh out loud! Nice! Now I’m imagining my cats as various Bowie incarnations.
