Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.

Today we hear from Sue, who adopted Jeannette (now Ginger) in January!

Ginger

[A]t her new house [Jeannette, now Ginger] spent an hour investigating everything, high and low, and immediately made herself at home. … She likes to sleep stretched out across us.

… We have bird feeders in front of our windows and the birds and squirrels that visit them keep Ginger entertained, along with the fish from our pond that are wintering over here in the house.  We don’t need a water bowl next to her food because she drinks from the fish bowl!

The laser pointer has been the best purchase we ever made, and is by far her favorite toy.  It’s always on our table, and she can hear it being picked up from where ever she happens to be in the house.  She has a blast chasing it around.

We are all so glad that [Ginger] waited at the shelter for us to adopt her, she is a joy to us all and I can’t imagine being without her.
