Please join Ronald Gaskin, DVM, and Feline Rescue at the shelter on Sunday, November 22 at 2:00 p.m. to learn how to feed your cat for a longer, healthier life. Dr. Gaskin will give a one-hour informative presentation about how to choose the best diet for your cat and how feline nutrition affects quality and longevity of your cat’s life.

Graduating from the University of Minnesota Veterinary College in 1983, Dr. Gaskin started in a mixed large and small animal practice with a focus on dairy herds. In 1988, he opened his own small animal practice in Prior Lake, Minnesota. A year later he moved the practice to Shakopee, Minnesota.

Dr. Gaskin is a member of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Dental Society, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the Cornell Feline Health Center.
MSVS is now working on declaw damage salvage with an on-going research project. The clinic is also Dr. Gaskin’s home. He shares it with two cats: Ginger is a former South Minneapolis alley cat, and Gem is a Norwegian Forest cat that was a gift from a grateful breeder. Douie passed away from total CRF.
