Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.

Today we hear from Kristy and Jimmy, who adopted Cookie Monster (formerly Henry) in August 2016.

We adopted Henry almost a week ago and we couldn’t be happier with him. He loves to snuggle, play and EAT FOOD!

One of the fun quirks he has is that he always has to be touching you, and if you need to walk around, he has to follow you to make sure you’re okay. It took him a couple of days to adjust to his new environment and not having the other cats around, but he has gotten so comfortable with us and our home.

He loves to play with his feather toys and his laser. He also loves to talk to us; either to say “Hello” when we come home from work, or “Good morning, I’m hungry” at 6 am haha.

We love him so much and are so happy we can provide him a good home and shower him with lots of love. Maybe down the road, we can get a friend from you guys!
