Alumni News – Croggie (Formerly Glasgow)

Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.

Today we hear from Charlie and Judith, who adopted Glasgow (now Croggie) in June 2017.

Although Glasgow is one of our favorite places, we renamed him Croggie because one of us—Charlie—had a dream that we actually had a cat with that name. We’d never heard the word, but apparently it means a ride on the handlebars of someone else’s bike. Who knew!

He was a quiet, unassuming kitty at first. But he immediately took to us and our home, he’s very playful and affectionate, and he’s quite friendly to all visitors. It’s a perfect fit. We love him!

Thanks for posting our success story–we love him so much, and he loves us (except when the vacuum cleaner comes out of the closet).
We were quite impressed with the care the kitties were getting at the shelter. Minor edit: We’re not “Parker and Joel,” just Charlie & Judith as in the signature.

    Now fixed!

We love red kitty, as it was our first
one “Frostbite” whom was left behind after
the Two Men and a Truck left.

May Croggie have a wonderful life and you two
a long and lasting love affair.

Now, all that is left to do is a playmate for
    your one and only, Croggie.

A handlebar built for two !
