Double Your Donation for Double the Love
It’s Valentine’s month and that means it’s time for our Double the Love campaign. At Feline Rescue, we are committed to keeping love in the air by giving the best care possible to all the cats who enter our programs every day. Love is an integral aspect of Feline Rescue, but sometimes it can be hard to find for some cats; and love doesn’t buy food, litter, toys or veterinary care.
Take the case of Jamima Puddle-Duck. Abandoned by her former owners, she was so distressed that she was unable to be touched without thick gloves. But after it was discovered that she disliked other cats and she was put in a room by herself — our office — and being attended to by our many volunteers, she gradually became a cat who enjoys watching volunteers work in the office and enjoys petting on her terms. This shows that love often takes extra patience, attention and effort to create a lasting impact. Now Jamima is ready to find a forever home with a patient adult who understands her.
