A fun way to help Feline Rescue raise money for our cats is to donate a gift certificate, good or service for a raffle board. Raffle boards are very similar to silent auctions, with a little twist. Guests “purchase” one of 64 squares on the raffle board for a set dollar amount for a chance to win one of the donated prizes – anything from tickets to a sports game or movie tickets, to jewelry, wine, or a handcrafted quilt donated by one of our volunteers. We’ll begin drawing numbers at 9:15. The name on the square of the drawn number wins the prize!

Another fun way to help Feline Rescue raise money for our cats is to donate a hand crafted item. We may use your donated creations for our raffle boards or at a craft sale. If you are a Feline Rescue volunteer, your hand crafted donation may be featured in the “Volunteers Superstars” raffle board, which will showcase our volunteers’ talents. Ideas for hand-crafted donations include quilts, hand-stitched totes, pottery, hand-made jewelry, knitted and crocheted items. Hand-made cat blankets and cat beds are always a hit.

Non-crafters’ donations are welcome, too, and donation suggestions include wine, books, candles, artwork, and cat-themed items such as teacups or mugs. Your handcrafted or donated item may be combined with other donated items to create a basket that will be irresistible!

Use your imagination, combined with your creativity, and you’ll be contributing to the success of Feline Rescue’s events.

Feline Rescue will acknowledge all raffle board donors and donations on our website and Facebook page, and in a printed event program. For more information or to make a donation, please email David Nelson at
