Last summer I received an email of that a kitten was in the hospital and in need of a foster. When I first met Flash he was skinny, weak, and needed TLC. I gave him daily medications and weighed him diligently to make sure he was out of danger. Over time, he grew and he became the best little guy! He found his forever home and is living his best life!
I was adopted last October. I am a sweet, friendly and mischievous (my mom’s word) kitty. I prefer to call it curiosity! My favorite things: chasing that little red light, sleeping next to my mom, sitting behind the TV and jumping up on top of the kitchen cupboards. The last 2 things are not popular with my mom but she loves me anyway.
Iris and Indigo were trapped inside a huge plastic trash can that was located in a garage on a rental property that was slated to be torn down. A renter found them when an alarm was tripped, alerting a need for their rescue. Along with their mother, Flora, the kittens were saved at six weeks old, just a day or so away from starvation. They were filthy and required repeatedly cleaning, frequent feedings and socialization. Within a month, they turned into the most beautiful and loving Lynx-point Siamese, living the good life on Lake Minnetonka.
This last year was full of ups and downs for our relationship (we got you a puppy brother! we got you a puppy brother ). But through it all, you remained wild, goofy and your perfect princess self. Thanks for making me into a cat person, Winnie. Love you!
We adopted Verde this past October. She is now Minnie and has been such a great addition to our home. It took a bit for het to get adjusted but she is now the queen of our house! She is so sweet and cuddly and loves to play with her feather sticks and chase her mice around and flip them in the air. She is a great office partner and likes to sit on my lap. Looking out the window is a favorite pastime along with long naps. We are so happy she is part of our family.

I wanted to share an alumni update on my cat Soup (formerly Wei). He is the sweetest little boy ever and adjusted very quickly to life in his new home. He still loves sleeping in his box from Feline Rescue.
Maximillion (known as Max) was adopted in September of 2021, and has adjusted well to his new home! He’s beefed up several pounds since adoption, and wears his hair long and shaggy. He’s finally learned to meow, doing so often in search of treats and cuddles.
I adopted Paris in the fall of 2021; she is now 17 and doing well! Paris is my first cat and is the sweetest, most precious thing. Paris loves her cat hut, bed, favorite cupboard, chin scratches, and to lay anywhere near me. She brings me so much joy and laughter. I am thankful to have found her at Feline Rescue!
