Adopting a Feline Rescue Cat
Adopting at Feline Rescue supports our no-kill mission, with a lifetime commitment to each cat.
All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams in house. Prior to adoption, all cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, treated for external and internal parasites, microchipped and receive age-appropriate vaccinations. Cats over 16 weeks are tested for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee offsets part of these costs.

Cats in need are brought into the shelter on a weekly basis. Intake is based on staffing availability and shelter capacity. Please check this page regularly to see more cats in need of adoption into safe and loving homes.
Adoption Fees
Includes vet exam/tests, microchip, spay/neuter, vaccinations
Kittens (up to 5 months old) $200
Adults (5+ months to 10 years old) $180
Seniors (Over 10 years old) $100
Discounts:
$10 per adoption fee when adopting a pair
$25 per adoption fee when adopting three kittens, cats, or seniors
We accept cash, check, or credit/debit cards as payment for the adoption fee(s) at the time of the adoption.
For credit card payments, Feline Rescue is charged a 3% processing fee. When finalizing your payment, there is an option to help Feline Rescue cover this cost. Please consider adding this to your total adoption fees so we can help more cats in need.
Adopting a Cat
Foster Cats include kittens up to 4 months old, as well as cats not in our shelter – pregnant mothers, new mama cats, seniors with special needs, cats with medical needs and shy cats in need of rehabilitation.
Shelter Cats are adults and seniors, plus kittens over 4 months old.
Recent Stray Arrivals are stray cats that have come to us in a variety of ways, who may have an owner looking for them.
Our Adoption Center is located just north of the intersection of University and Fairview Avenues in Saint Paul, MN.
