Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.
Today we hear from Julia, who adopted Emma Jean (now Adaline) in the Spring of 2017.
Adaline, or Addy, for short, and I just celebrated her three month adoption anniversary.
It’s also Adaline’s birthday this month! She turns 15 years old this August. Adaline (named after my grandma) is recently recovering from a dental procedure, with great hopes that she can now enjoy hard treats. She is endlessly fascinated with the ethernet cord in our home (it’s part exciting and part a terrifying snake!)
When not hunting the wild ethernet cord, she follows me around constantly waiting patiently for belly rubs and chin scratches. Adaline and her 14-year-old little sibling, Skyler, mostly keep their distance from each other, except when the morning sunspots necessitate a close proximity.
Adaline is simply the best! Thank you, Feline Rescue, for taking care of her while she transitioned between her two families!
Keep up up your wonderful work, Julia
