Baby Pea (formerly Baby Panini)

Baby Pea is our sweet foster fortune! She arrived at the shelter in mid-2019 with multiple health problems and was treated with Medical Miracle funds raised by Feline Rescue, receiving care for a year in the shelter and in foster homes.  We fostered her for the final three of those months and then decided that we had to make this bright and charming little girl our own.  She loves to snuggle with us and wash our faces, and she fills our lives with joy!

Luna (formerly Quartz)

It’ll be almost a year since I adopted Quartz (now Luna), October 30, 2020.  She has been a super cute ball of fur. It took her like a day to get used to the house and then she was the queen, jumping all over and inspecting everything.  Luna is extra curious, loves to play with balls and leaves, enjoys being on the deck. I thought cats weren’t affectionate but Luna is the opposite when it comes to sleeping. She knows when bedtime is and finds her spot right by my side, a cuddle bug!  Thanks for helping her find a home!

Salem

I adopted my cat, Salem, in October 2020. (Name was Salem and I kept it!)  He is the squeakiest cat I’ve ever met, and also the fluffiest.  The first time I met him at the foster, I knew I wanted him to be my first cat.  He is so soft and cuddles on his own terms.  His favorite activities are looking out the windows, running up and down the stairs, and yelling at birds.  I’m so happy, he’s my little orange sunshine! (First two pics are when Salem first arrived home.)

Joe

We adopted Joe in March of 2020. Joe has grown into a loving and affectionate cat who always finds a way into our laps.
Still energetic, playful, and talkative there is never a dull moment with Joe around! We are so grateful that we came across Joe that day at Feline Rescue and for the care he received there. He’s a healthy and happy cat and brings so much joy to our home!

Luna

This is our foster win, Luna (better known as Looney or Looney Tunes).  We knew almost right away that she was staying for good, and we officially adopted her in June 2020. She’s sassy, opinionated, sweet as can be, and 110% crazy. She fits right in with our busy family!

Penny

Things are great here! Penny fit right in to the family and we all love her so much. She is my first cat and I can honestly say I’ve been missing out. Cats are the best! She has such a funny personality and she runs things at our house, whether she’s playing with her fish toy, looking out the window or loafing in the most random place.

Thank you so much for being the bridge for me to have her. I couldn’t imagine living in this new house without her. And I got my sister a kitten for her birthday, so Penny has a brother to play with now! (And OH DO THEY PLAY 🤣) !
Nova (Pollyana)

I was diagnosed with depression when I was 15, I struggled for years but managed. I lost my 22 year old cat back in 2018 and hadn’t gotten another one. I was having TERRIBLE depression symptoms in 2020. I housesat for a friend who has a cat and a dog and I went to my therapist after leaving her house and talked endlessly about how having my friends cat sleep on my back/chest and just being with me all day for a week made me feel so much better. She immediately wrote me a letter for a therapy cat.

I was on the hunt and saw Nova and her kittens on one if your Foster’s Instagram and fell in love with them all. I applied, and within days was approved and was able to go meet then in person. At the time I had wanted a kitten, but was told that no one had expressed interest in their one year old mama and when I saw her I was in love. She curled up in my lap and purred endlessly.

Since day 1 of bringing her home, she has been my savior on more than one occasion and she the sweetest, loviest, little bean in the entire world. Thank you Feline Rescue (and Julie) for bringing her into my life and into my heart.
Fitzy (formerly known as Fitzhubert)

Fitzy has become my charming boy with a little spice.  He enjoys showing off his acrobatics, “hunting” the squirrels & birdies from his windows, finding new hiding places, and talking to you ALL day (never forget a little treat–it’s common decency).  But the best part is he still wants to be held like mama’s little baby!

Remy, Maisie and Flora (formerly Sammie, Magnolia and Earl the Girl)

I adopted Remy and Maisie (formerly Sammie and Magnolia) together in 2018 and Flora (formerly Earl the Girl) in 2020. They all get along very well and I rarely see one of them sleeping alone. When I bought my house in 2020, the first thing I did was build a catio on the deck, which is loved by all the cats and my dogs as well. Maisie (orange) especially loves to lay on the couch in the afternoons (I attached a picture of her lounging in the sun and another of her loving on one of my dogs). Remy and Flora (black and gray) love to share the cat tree cubby (also attached a picture) and Remy likes to block the entrance so Flora can’t get out. He has a bit of an attitude and also loves to mess with the dogs. Flora is very sweet and likes to follow me all around the house and sit and watch me in my pottery studio (picture of her on my studio table attached). Flora is also a bit of a troublemaker and tries to escape the catio, which is why I never leave it unattended. I am forever grateful for finding my cats through Feline Rescue.
