Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.
Today we hear from David, who adopted Chakra (now Chloe) in August!
Chakra has changed her name to Chloé, as she decided that her fashionable attitude mattered more than her highly balanced body image. And Yes, she does have attitude! Chloé is vocal about everything: I want to be fed, I want you to wake up, I want to play, I want to be left alone, I don’t know what I want but I need attention, now!
Chloé makes a great companion in the duplex apartment that I own, greeting me at the door and greeting any visitors. While visitors notice how attentive and cute she is, I must warn them that she calls the shots. Chloé likes to nuzzle and jump on laps and get head rubs, but No-No don’t try to pick up this lady as that is not her style to be grabbed by mere humans.
Chloé loves sitting in windows and watching the outdoors, when she’s not napping. When napping she prefers the comfort of wool blankets or heat registers. In another life, she would have spent much time at the beach on the hot sand in the summer or in the winter under a comforter with a good book.
Chloé is so happy to have her own apartment with views, and she will forever be grateful to the loving care she received at Feline Rescue.
