Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.
Today we hear from Lisa and Charles, who adopted Ernest & Fritz (formerly Puddin & Houdini) in 2006!
Ernest and Fritz [formerly Puddin and Houdini] were adopted as a pair in 2006. Ernest [orange and white] befriended Fritz [orange tabby] in the Feline Rescue intake room and helped to socialize this extremely shy cat who liked to disappear as often as he could. Since adoption, Ernest and Fritz have remained best friends, napping together every day and wrestling with each other often. While Ernest has always been the social, vocal alpha-cat of the house, Fritz, while still very shy around strangers, looks to us when he wants a good brushing, a friendly petting, or a warm lap late at night. We’re happy to have given both of these wonderful cats their forever home, and we can’t imagine one without the other.
