Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.

Today we hear from Linda, who adopted Jelly Bean (now Binks), Minnow (now Jax) and Tony in February 2013!

 Jelly Bean, et al
My boys … all have a wonderful home. … Binks, aka Jelly Bean (whose eyes are surgically shut), is doing wonderfully; he is a healthy sleek kitty and weighs about 12 pounds now.  He spends his days playing with his brothers and takes many cat-naps.  Always looking for toys that make noise for him.  He is an excellent mouser.

Jax, aka Minnow (who has one eye surgically shut), is my little clown, very playful and always into mischief.  Will eat almost anything so try to watch his food intake and be sure he is not eating something he should not. He weighs about 10 pounds and is my long and rangy looking kitty.  He is so high energy does not have time to get fat.

Tony (the tabby) is my contented kitty but does love to play at times.  He was a little fraidy cat but has come around and is very cuddly with me.  He is very gentle and is my big kitty who weighs about 14 pounds, who loves cat naps.

Jellybean etc

All my kitties are healthy and get regular checkups and they get good food.  My goal is to give them a good life, as well as I can!

[Editor’s Note: Linda also adopted Magic, aka Jesse, from Animal Humane Society. He is missing his ears due to frostbite, but appears to fit right in with the rest of the gang!]
