Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.

Today we hear from Carole and Dan, who adopted Minnie (now Pearl) in October!

Pearl fka Minnie

Pearl is an absolutely loving girl. She wants to be next to someone all the time. If she’s not sitting on Dan’s lap, she’s sitting behind me on my chair while I’m online. I believe it took her about 24 hours to adjust to our household. She’s an “only” cat and that is fine with her. Pearl is very talkative and thus entertaining. When it’s time to eat, she circles the rooms a couple times and then heads out to her bowl in the kitchen. We did have to put her on a diet, but with the exercise she gets going up and down stairs and watching what she eats, she has slimmed down. Much easier for her to jump on “her” chair now.

Pearl likes everyone, even the cleaning lady. Doesn’t seem upset by the vacuum and just takes it in stride. While we were on vacation, our neighbors, Ben and Suzy, took care of Pearl. They agreed she’s a very happy cat. Dan and I are very glad we adopted her and look forward to a number of happy years with Pearl.

Thanks to Feline Rescue for making it possible for us to have a great companion.
