Feline Rescue thinks the best way for you to get a feel for the work of the organization and it’s many dedicated volunteers is by letting our adopters (and their cats!) tell their own success stories.
Today we hear from Shawn, who adopted Pearl and Opal from our foster system in December!
The girls are doing great. … We love to call them “Da Goils” … LOL. From day one, both Opal and Pearl fit into our home beautifully. They joined two English Bulldogs, a Norwegian Forest Cat and a Somali Cat. Everyone gets along splendidly!
Opal is my snuggle girl. … She expects a snuggle session each afternoon, and it needs to be with her special velvet blanket! Opal loves to play with fur mice and to sit in front of the screens and take in the sounds and smells. Her favorite treat is poached chicken breast!
Pearl is my “super model”! She never takes a bad photo, and loves to pose for me! She is a busy girl who adores sparkle balls and demands a fetch game with one every evening before bed! Pearl loves to eat anything!
Opal and Pearl have a special sisterly bond with each other. I often find them snuggled up together.
I couldn’t be more pleased with our decision to make these girls part of our home…it just feels right. I look forward to many years with Da Goils!

(Editor’s Note: Opal and Pearl were orphaned kittens who came from MACC when they were about 4 weeks old.)
