Third Annual Community Cat Day

Feline Rescue’s Third Annual Community Cat Day
Sunday, October 18th, 2015
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Feline Rescue, 593 Fairview Ave N, St. Paul

TNR Workshop. Learn how spay/neuter and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) can help save more cats’ lives and help reduce the number of homeless cats in our community.

Outdoor Shelter Workshop. Make shelters to help keep outdoor kitties safe and warm this winter. Design, build, and bring your own shelter or help us make some. Keep your shelter for cats you are feeding or donate it to our outreach team to pass along to other cats in need. We have 25 donated Styrofoam containers and need help making them into houses as shown on these web links:

We don’t need more containers, but feel free to bring along other supplies like a knife for making holes, plastic sheeting (6 ml recommended), and duct tape. For more shelter ideas, go to Alley Cat Allies http://www.alleycat.org/ShelterGallery

Community Cat Food Drive. Bring some cat food – canned or dry. The outreach team distributes food to those in need who are feeding community cats.
